FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

Part of the works from the collection of the Museum, which make up the exhibition entitled ‘Trajetórias do Olhar,’ will travel to four cities in the interior of the State – Foz do Iguaçu, Londrina, Cascavel, and Maringá – between April and October this year. 'Taking the collection around the State is one of the ways we encourage access to Culture for as many people as possible,' explains the president of the Oscar Niemeyer Museum, Maristela Requião.

The start of the exhibition's tour will be in Foz do Iguaçu this Wednesday (04/26) at 7:30 pm, and it will be open to the public from April 27 to June 11, at the Foz Cultural Foundation. From June 23 to July 23, it will be on display at the Londrina Art Museum, then it will move to Cascavel, at the city's Art Museum, remaining open to the public from August 4 to September 10, and finally, it will end its tour in Maringá, from September 21 to October 29, at the Calil Hadad Theater.

This is the first exhibition specially organized to travel through the interior of the State. Intensely presenting its own and unprecedented exhibitions, the Museum is also taking an exhibition of works by the artist Helena Wong to Porto Alegre (RS). 'This cultural exchange is our main role as a multiplier of dialogue, to be produced between the work and the observer. The work serves as a bridge for the promotion and enrichment of the discussion about artistic production in Paraná,' highlights Maristela Requião.

The Museum's first initiative to take works from its collection abroad was with the exhibition of works by Polish artist Bruno Lechowski, who lived in Paraná for a period. Between September 2005 and January of this year, the exhibition traveled to three European countries (London, Warsaw, Krakow, and Berlin) before ending its tour in Curitiba, remaining on display at the Oscar Niemeyer Museum until the beginning of May.
