Registration for exhibition proposals at the Oscar Niemeyer Museum (MON) is open until August 22, 2024, for exhibitions starting in the second half of 2025. 

They must be submitted exclusively in digital format through the application form (click here). The result of the evaluation will be communicated in writing to the applicants by October 22, 2024, solely to the email address indicated in the proposal.

The Oscar Niemeyer Museum (MON) exhibits shows of outstanding artistic quality related to its areas of expertise - visual arts, architecture, and design. MON designs and produces most of the exhibitions it presents, whether permanent shows - consisting of works from its own collection - or temporary ones, including itinerant exhibitions. The institution also receives exhibition proposals from third parties, as long as they align with the principles and areas of operation of MON, through a Call for Proposals.

Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the guidelines provided in the Call for Proposals and annexes (Annexes I, II, and III), which can be consulted here.

Before starting to fill out the application form, check the following guidelines:

• The form must be completed in full and submitted at the end of the process. It is NOT possible to start filling out, save the file, and complete the process at another time;

• It is mandatory to submit Annexes I (Documentation) and III (Copyright Declaration) in pdf format; and Annex II (Works List) in xls or xlsx format. The limit for each file is 10 MB;

• Attach a maximum of 10 images in the designated information fields (images 1 to 10). The limit for each file is 10 MB;

• Videos, websites, or electronic portfolios can be submitted via a link in the designated information fields. It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to ensure that the provided links remain active until the end of the evaluation process.

The Oscar Niemeyer Museum (MON) is a state-owned heritage linked to the State Department of Culture. The institution houses important references of national and international artistic production in the areas of visual arts, architecture, and design, as well as grand collections of Asian and African art. In total, the collection has approximately 14,000 works of art, housed in an area of over 35,000 square meters of built space, making MON the largest art museum in Latin America.
