Guided visits
Guided visits propose active dialogues with visitors, respecting the characteristics of each group and individual. The mediation route creates relations with the Museum and with the exhibitions on display, based on conversation and interaction with the mediator or educator responsible for the visit.
Educational visits are carried out for groups of at least ten people, serving schools, universities, NGOs, tourism groups and others by appointment. In addition to mediation, the group can choose to receive an artistic workshop. For the general public, guided visits and workshops have pre-established schedules.
Artistic Workshops
The workshops offer visitors a space for creation and experimentation. Through the activation of multisensory perception, the workshops dialogue with the collection, the exhibitions on display and the architecture of MON. The purpose is to generate experiences that contribute to expanding the experience of visitors in the museum space, as well as providing an environment of creative freedom.
Programs
O MON na Escola é um programa de visitas guiadas, feitas por agendamento prévio, orientadas por um mediador/educador que conversa sobre os principais conceitos das exposições e da história e arquitetura do MON. O atendimento é realizado por universitários das áreas de Artes Visuais, História, Design, Turismo, Teatro, Letras e outros, que a cada nova exposição, recebem treinamento oferecido pelo MON em parceria com artistas, curadores, críticos de arte e outros profissionais da área.

O programa arte para maiores é indicado especialmente às pessoas com mais de 60 anos, mas é aberto para todo o público. As atividades compreendem visitas mediadas às exposições em cartaz, dinâmicas coletivas, práticas artísticas, conversas e encontros com artistas e curadores das mostras.

Por meio de investigações e ações multissensoriais, o projeto MON Primeiros Passos proporciona para as crianças de 1 a 2 anos um contato sensível com a arte e com o espaço do Museu. Os encontros envolvem dinâmicas, oficinas e atividades nas exposições em cartaz e no Espaço de Oficinas do MON. Os pequenos devem sempre estar acompanhados por um adulto, que atuará como mediador entre a criança e as propostas durante as ações. Aqui, as crianças são protagonistas das suas próprias experiências com a arte!

The "Access to Perceive" (Acesse para Perceber) project is an art mediation device aimed at the spontaneous audience (visitors without a scheduled visit). The content offered by the project includes a selection of works from different collections of visual arts, architecture and design, five of these works also have audio description versions of the content for visually impaired people. The material is made available through QR codes that give access to the information and audio files. The proposal is based on training audiences for autonomy and emancipation in exploring the exhibition spaces and their relationship with art. The project also arouses the interest of other profiles of spontaneous visitors to the museum, such as teenagers and young people, who are already used to customizing services and looking for additional information on those subjects that spark their curiosity.

The MON for Everyone (MON para Todos) program was developed by the Museu Oscar Niemeyer to expand access to the collection and activities offered by the institution for people with disabilities. For people with blindness or visual impairment, the program has subtitles in Braille, tactile models, audioguides, original sculptures and miniature replicas. The program offers, by appointment, activities with translation into Brazilian Sign Language for people with hearing impairments.

The “I Take Part!" (Eu Participo!) program is designed to assist employees and outsourced teams, and includes holding mediations in the exhibitions by the MON Educational Program team, in addition to a series of actions aimed at reinforcing the employees' sense of belonging. Once a month, conversations are held about the museum and its exhibitions, on a predetermined day and time, open to the spontaneous participation of collaborators and according to the teams' availability. Furthermore, the program offers five tickets per month to employees who wish to visit the museum with family/friends. The goal is to promote the inclusion of collaborators as an immediate target audience of the cultural actions developed by the Museum, appropriation of the place and integration between teams.
